Captain Eddy Cabrera

Hey there, my name is Capt Eddy Cabrera. Owner and Captain of Reel Screamer Charters. I was born and raised most of my life in Miami Florida and grew up fishing all my life the waters off Southeast Florida all the way down to key west and to the Bahamas. Growing up watching offshore fishing on tv and fishing with my dad, I knew I wanted to become a offshore charter captain and fish for a living. I moved down to the keys with a goal to start a charter business. For the first few years, I worked with other captains as a mate to learn different techniques and fisheries to have better knowledge for more successful fishing . With all the time spent fishing with my dad and the captains here in the Florida keys, I gained the knowledge and knowhow of how to fish in the Florida keys. I enjoyed it because here in the Florida keys, there is so many options for fishing. The reefs and beyond have such a variety, that you could switch up gears and chase another species without a problem. That's what makes this place special to me and I knew I was going to be here for a while. My favorite fish to target are wahoo, sailfish, and swordfish. After spending so much time on the waters chasing these and lots of other species, i want to be able to share those moments of catching the fish that people want the most. To me, its just as much about having fun on the water as it is to catch fish. So lets get out there and make some memories.
